We shall be holding a beer, cider, perry and food festival in our new (old) theatre at the back of the Wynnstay. We are very much a food-lead operation, with an emphasis on quality local produce. We keep a tidy bar with a range of real ales and ciders. This festival is primarily about beer and cider but also combining the best with food.
We shall have some local brewers attending along with our chefs. There will be good food available (more on this later) and sample nibbles to demonstrate the best way to choose which beer to accompany each food. On occasion cider or even perry may be the answer. We shall also have ideas on cooking with beer and cider.
We are aiming at relaxed, convivial atmosphere, outside (if the sun shines) and under cover in the theatre. There will be some traditional pub games. Any musicians are welcome to bring their (acoustic) instruments and could even get a beer or two if playing well! There is an electric piano.
Our local CAMRA friends will be attending and are part sponsors of the festival, for which we thank them.
We shall have eight ales at the festival, four ciders & perry, plus a further four beers in the Wynnstay bar.

We shall have hot and cold food available at the festival – with a chef in attendance for much of the time.
There will be sample nibbles to taste along with the beers & ciders. Try matching different beers or ciders with different foods: meat, fish, vegetables.
Our pizzeria, adjacent to the festival venue, is open every evening from 5pm with real pizza made in a traditional oven by our own resident pizzaiolo (pizza chef)
Our celebrated restaurant will serve dinners with suggestions on which beers or cider to accompany each dish – and dishes prepared with beer and cider. We can serve beers from the festival into the restaurant.
